Conclusion
In this chapter, relevant portions of the J2EE specifications were discussed. We also focused on the notion of J2EE containers and how J2EE packaging targets the containers. In the next chapter, an introduction to the application used throughout this book is provided. You will do some initial configuration of WAS and then deploy the sample application to WAS.
