How This Book Is Organized
This book is organized to provide the reader information in a practical and concrete way. Most of the chapters will start by introducing concepts and features and why they are important. They will then discuss the practices needed to implement and use the concepts or features successfully. Finally, where applicable, many chapters will conclude with the use of an example that includes automation to illustrate the concepts.
Our main objective is to help you effectively use the powerful WAS platform to run your J2EE applications by providing information in a practical and concrete way. In keeping with that objective, this book is divided into five parts as follows:
