Web Services Gateway Overview

WebSphere Application Server V5 - Network Deployment (WAS-ND) provides a Web Services Gateway (WSGW), which serves as an intermediary between Web service clients and Web service deployments. The WSGW provides valuable functions for WAS installations running Web service applications; WAS administrators, therefore, must be familiar with WSGW. Unfortunately, clustering of the gateway, while very important, is not well documented elsewhere. We've chosen to provide this documentation here, even though this book otherwise spends very little time on Web services.
