Chapter 9. Administrative Features

The administrative agent is a new feature since WAS 7. It provides a single interface to administer multiple standalone application servers. The administrative agent can manage multiple nodes (an application server registered to a WebSphere Application Server (WAS) cell is called a node) and provides a common Administrative console to administer the registered nodes.
