WebSphere Application Server is a powerful and flexible platform for deploying a variety of enterprise software solutions based on the Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) specification. Many of the largest companies in the world run their most critical applications on WebSphere Application Server, and more are joining their ranks every day.
