JavaMail 1.2 Support

The JavaMail component of J2EE supports the creation and transfer of mail messages from a client to a mail server. Implementations of JavaMail provide support for the common Internet open mail exchange protocols: POP3, IMAP, and SMTP. JavaMail also provides interfaces for the creation of MIME message content. MIME is an open and widely used mail message format on the Internet, supporting multiple content types within the same mail message such as text and images.
