experience in all aspects of installing, servicing and supporting the IBM Large Systems

environment.

Paul Edmondson is an MVS systems programmer. He has 25 years of experience and

currently works in Canberra, Australia. He holds a degree in computing studies from the

University of Canberra. His areas of expertise include performance tuning, capacity planning,

storage management, configuration management, and systems programming, as well as

software design and development.

Bernard Filhol is a Product Engineering specialist in Montpellier, France. He has 26 years of

experience in IBM Large Systems Technical Support. He holds a degree in Electronics from

the Institute of Technology of Montpellier. His areas of expertise include Channel Subsystem,

Parallel Sysplex, and ESCON and FICON interfaces.

Parwez Hamid is a Consulting IT Specialist for IBM in the United Kingdom. He has 26 years

of experience in IBM Large Systems. He has prepared the technical presentation guides and

reference cards for the IBM S/390 G3, G4, G5 and G6 servers. His areas of expertise include
