6.7. Identify and document the specific components of design

Now that the e-business solution design has been validated with the customer it is time to start detailing the specific components:

  • Describe organization and business process requirements (for example, industry trends, political and cultural considerations, internationalization strategies, business rules, standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines).

  • Describe content requirements (for example, data structure, data access, internationalization, bandwidth).

  • Describe application design and development requirements (for example, standards, frameworks, J2EE, integration, Web services, XML).

  • Describe technology requirements (for example, user node/client, connectors, network infrastructure, ...
