Local Links

You, as a system administrator, receive a call from a user who tells you that she has an Excel file with planning data, and she wonders if she can load that data in the Contributor Web Client, rather than manually re-keying it. She asks whether you can help her to load the file. You explain that she can use the local link feature of IBM Cognos Planning.

Users, with edit or submit rights, can create and run local links to load data into the Contributor Web Client from various external sources.
