Once I was on board with the idea of writing a book to communicate the functionality and value of Cognos 8, it became clear to me that many of the chapters in this book could, indeed, be their own individual books. The depth of Cognos 8 is just that substantial: Cognos 8 brought about significant improvement and a brand new architecture as well as a unified user platform.
