About the Author
Dan Volitich is president and owner of John Daniel Associates, which he cofounded in 1996 to serve the business intelligence market. Dan’s extensive experience with business intelligence (BI) began in the mid-1980s (before the market coined the term BI) at a large commercial real estate firm in Fairfax, Virginia. As their IT director, he successfully delivered enterprise business intelligence solutions, streamlining mission-critical business functions for every department in the company.
