CICS Explorer - MQ application migration
In CICS TS V3.2, MQ calls are now run on the open L8 TCB; therefore, you must be aware of the MQ applications that you have and the implication of defining the programs as THREADSAFE.
In this chapter, we show how you can use the CICS Explorer and CICS Tools plug-ins to assist you in identifying MQ applications to migrate from CICS TS V3.1 to CICS TS V4.1. The same benefits can be obtained if migrating to CICS TS V3.2.
