AB Fashions was a four-year-old startup company founded by Alice and Barney. The idea for the online clothing firm came from Alice, who brought with her several years of fashion design experience. She met Barney while they both were working for an established clothing company, where Barney led a production team. Both partners were excited to start their own business, and their respective skills and experience in design and production were highly complementary. They decided to leave the firm where they worked and launch AB Fashions as fifty/fifty partners.
