Howell J. Malham Jr. is cofounder and director of Insight Labs, a humanitarian foundation that convenes the smartest, most influential people to tackle the world's toughest problems.
A recovering brand strategist, Howell has worked with a number of prominent companies including Walgreens, Allstate, Universal Studios, LEGO, and HarperCollins. He has also written for the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and the Chicago Tribune.
Howell has been drawing and painting his entire life. His illustrations have played a supporting role in his work as a strategist and a writer over the years.
He lives in Chicago with his wife, Cheryl.
