Chapter 2 discusses how to set up a Google account so you can send and receive emails and manage all aspects of your Hudl. This chapter is where you discover just how useful Google’s extensive services are and how well they work together.

As you use your Hudl you may come across a screen asking whether you want to install Google Now, a tool that brings together several of the other Google services you may use. (You can also access Google Now by holding your finger on the Home button and swiping up to the word Google that appears above it.) If you allow Google to take note of your location, for example, Google Now can provide weather, travel, restaurant and entertainment information that’s local to you.
