Your Hudl can entertain you in all manner of ways. You can waste hours watching online videos of course, but you have plenty of games and quizzes to enjoy too. You don’t need a Wi-Fi connection to play most of them, either, because you can simply download these apps to your Hudl.

The Google Play Store stocks thousands of games, many of them free. In this chapter, I suggest a few that you and your family may enjoy, from classic board, racing and card games to action and role-playing games. Some of these action games are rather gory, which is why the games industry gives them age ratings. Download the Game Ratings by ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) app from the Google Play Store to see the age rating for any game. To use it, you just type the game’s name into the app’s search box. You might find this app useful if your child mentions a game they want to play, but you have concerns about its suitability.
