Adding a shadow to your font

With CSS3 you can easily add a shadow to your text. This effect can be used to either give a special element a highlighted effect, or used throughout your body text to enhance the look of your content. In addition, you can use it to highlight links within your text to help them stand out.

Getting ready

CSS3 makes this easy, so there isn't a big setup. Open your development environment, or a Notepad program and get started. You can also go online to Packt Publishing's web page for this module and get the completed code and take a look inside.
