Create a Form

XHTML provides for a host of form controls to accept different types of data. Which controls you use depends on the needs of your site, but regardless of what kind of information you need to collect or what you plan to do with it, you will always begin with the form element to define the form itself. All of the form controls will be wrapped within this element's tags.

The form tag takes two required attributes. The easier attribute to understand is action, which is simply the path to the page on the server that will process the form — that is, the page to which you need to send the data.
