CSS Reference

The following is a reference to the commonly used properties and values in CSS 1.0 and 2.0. Note that styles used exclusively for alternate media types such as aural and Braille are excluded.

Font and Text Properties

Font and text properties provide for control over the appearance of text on the page.

PROPERTY	DESCRIPTION
font-family	Specifies the typeface to be used. Any font can be named. If the font name contains more than one word, it must be enclosed in quotation marks. It is generally recommended that a comma-separated list of fonts be provided.
font-size	Allows for setting the size of text. Units of measurement supported include pixels, points, picas, percentages, ems, exes, inches, centimeters, and millimeters, ...
