Chapter 10. Adding Graphics to the Design

While CSS focuses a great deal on the positioning of all kinds of elements on the page, and on the display and behavior of text, it has relatively little to say on the specific subject of graphics. That's probably because graphics are… well… graphics. Once they're designed and placed on a page, there's not much else you can expect of them. They can be used as hyperlink anchors, but it's not as if there's much you can do to change their style or appearance; those are under the control of the artist or designer who created them.
