Dynamic HTML: The Definitive Reference 2nd Danny Goodman O'Reilly 0-596-00316-1

This is the best comprehensive reference to DHTML, of which CSS is a crucial component. Goodman's writing is clear and concise. He's a real authority who not only writes about this technology, but uses it daily in his successful consulting business.

While the book is pricey and weighty, it's all but indispensable. When the second edition came out, I bought it without hesitation, casting aside my well-thumbed and marked-up copy of the first edition of what is for me an absolutely essential reference.

This is the first book I reach for whenever I have a question about how something works in CSS, HTML, JavaScript or the Document Object Model (DOM).
