Synopsis

<ins>...</ins>

Indicates text that has been inserted into the document. It has no inherent style qualities on its own, but may be used to indicate inserted text in a different color via style sheet controls. It may be useful for legal documents and any instance in which edits need to be tracked. Its counterpart is <del> (deleted text). Both can be used to indicate either inline or block-level elements.
