  • Word is a WYSIWYG program, so you do not have to manually type any codes.

  • Word saves documents in three Web formats:

    • Web Page saves a Word-enriched HTML file with a separate folder for graphics.

    • Web Page, Filtered saves a plain HTML file with a separate folder for graphics.

    • Single File Web Page saves a Word-enriched HTML file with embedded graphics.

  • For best results, use the built-in Word styles in to format Web page text. The default Word styles correspond to common HTML styles. For example, Normal corresponds to <p> and Heading 1 corresponds to <h1>.
