Maintenance Plans and Procedures for Structured-wiring Design

A professionally installed low-voltage structured-wiring system can be expected to last approximately 15 years. It has the longest life cycle of components in a low-voltage system. However, several steps are listed here that should be taken to ensure trouble-free operation over the expected life cycle of the cabling system:
