Standard Configuration and Settings

The proper configuration and setting of each type of access control and management system must be established by the homeowner to ensure all access systems satisfy the design objectives. This includes setting requirements for card readers, programming the software settings for entry keypads, and installing the proper sensor systems. Ensuring that garage door sensors are placed in compliance with federal law and establishing a timetable for time-of-day access systems where applicable are also necessary.
