In-house services include all the enhanced telephone features that are available using privately owned voice mail, PBX, and key telephone systems.
Voice Mail
As discussed earlier, mail services are available from local telephone exchange carriers and personal home voice mail systems. In-house voice mail services include personal answering machines, integrated key systems, and PBX voice mail systems.
Personal answering machines are owned by the subscriber, are low in cost, and require no service fee for operation.
