Step 7: Get Feedback on the Draft

In this step, you are essentially going to your customers and saying, “This is what we think. What do you think?” That dialogue may take different forms with different customers. Gathering feedback at this point helps create buy-in as well as raise suggestions, issues, or concerns not yet accounted for in the measures.

Seek feedback in an organized fashion. Refer back to your communication plan and contact the stakeholders you identified. At this point that list probably includes the following:

  • HPI management

  • HPI staff

  • business unit managers

  • human resources

  • finance
