Step 10: Get Management Approval
Whatever process you use to obtain approval and buy-in, be sure that not only your management, but also the business unit management, supports the measurement plan. Business units are frequently the producers and holders of data that you will need to measure successfully. Without their data, you may be unable to complete your measures. Business unit support is also the key to employee willingness to complete surveys or other data gathering tools you may use.
