OpenView Network Node Manager (NNM) is a Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)-based tool providing the capability to monitor networked devices and manage your enterprise. NNM provides discovery of IP devices, topological mapping of the devices, SNMP data collection, and the capability to receive and respond to SNMP traps. In addition to discovery, NNM can monitor some layer 2 devices while the Microsoft® Windows operating system implementation provides discovery and mapping of IPX devices.
