Every professional employs a trusted set of tools. A good carpenter needs and uses dozens of tools and knows how to use each of these tools best to accomplish a specific task effectively. The detectives I see on television rely on an endless supply of tools, each used for just the right situation to solve crimes (nearly always within 60 minutes, too). I have always considered testing similar to many other lines of work in the use of tools.
