Stage 4 – Get Them to Take Action

You have started talking to someone. You have generated curiosity and interest. They feel like you understand them and a real connection has been made. So, now we'll look at how to get them to take action. Perhaps this might be closing a sale in a business transaction or securing someone's agreement to go on a trip or undertake an activity with you, or simply to agree with you about what you may be doing together later that day.

This is all about doing it in a way that isn't confrontational and doesn't make anyone feel awkward. It's almost as if they end up going the way you'd like them to go due to all the previous steps you've made in your conversation so far – from the last few stages and this one. More ...
