Technology Is Integral to Today's Presentations

The rules have dramatically changed for preparing presentation visual aids. Getting good-quality visuals in the past meant using the services of in-house or outside professional graphics designers. Those services were generally available only for major presentations and were costly. Visuals for most everyday presentations were usually created by the presenter: typed, cut-and-paste versions of whatever art existed, shrinking illustrations on the copy machine to fit viewgraphs, and even hand printed.
