In many organizations, the word presentation automatically implies "visuals" or the more current term "graphics." Visual aids have been valuable to communication from Day One. Religion provides some well-known examples. The apple was a prop to impart an important lesson to Adam and Eve. Moses' Ten Commandments (or were there fifteen, Mel Brooks fans?) were carved on stone plaques. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said "Behold the lilies of the field . . ."
