Quantitative relations tests

Usually in this test you are given a table of three rows and three columns of numbers. In each row there is a numerical relationship, which is the same for all the rows in the same table. Your task is to work out this numerical relationship and to replace the question mark in one of the rows with an appropriate number, using the other two rows as your guide. You do this by choosing one of the four answers provided, as illustrated in the example below.

The relationship within each row is:

X – Y = Z/2

First row:

19 – 7 = 24/2 = 12

Second row:

33 – 15 = 36/2 = 18

Third row:

12.8 – 5.3 = 15/2 = 7.5 ...
