  1. Monitor performance against schedule.
  2. Monitor performance against budget.
  3. Analyse variances and implement remedial action plans.
  4. Record and report on status.
  5. Control the pressures to make changes.
  6. Prepare for and provide training to integrate the solutions, products or processes into business-as-usual operations.
  7. Rehearse for the key period when change will occur – often called handover or go-live.
  8. Conduct regular meetings to identify lessons that can be incorporated into daily practices.
