So you’ve received an offer! You won the jackpot … the grand slam … the ultimate prize. Give yourself a big, fat slap on the back and collect some kudos from friends and relatives.

You Want the Job

Sometimes, the decision on an offer is a no-brainer. The job would be perfect for you, and you’re chomping at the bit for it. But no matter how heavenly an offer may be, consider negotiating your salary, as well as other benefits, as covered in Chapter 16.
