Lecturing: Borrring!

Is lecturing boring? Maybe … maybe not.

A lecture is a formal, prepared presentation of information. The person talking is the center of attention. Simply put, that person introduces the subject, presents the information, and then summarizes the material. It is regarded largely as a passive (some would say boring) method of customer service training. The facilitator speaks, and the attendees listen and usually do not participate in any way.
