Setting aside the not-inconsequential issue of money for just a moment, it’s essential to remember that so much more goes into deciding whether a new potential employer is the one for you. You need to make sure you know how to tell whether the company is a good fit for you or just an invitation to be unemployed again before you’ve had time to program your new cell phone. Bearing in mind that nothing’s permanent (or even guaranteed) in the grand career scheme of things, you also want to know that your next selection is a reasonably logical choice on your own professional progression. Or at the very least, you should be able to get a whole new set of really great stories to tell, for the next time you have to fashion your two-minute story.
