When you create a document for use with several team members in a corporate environment, you can keep track of who did what to the document with digital signatures. When a reviewer or team member digitally signs a document, Acrobat acknowledges the reviewer and creates a timestamp. All changes to the document are noted as being performed by the digital signer.
