Identifying Dimensions to Survey

You may already have a list of dimensions to survey. Perhaps you have conducted surveys in the past, and you have a list of the areas questioned in those surveys. Perhaps someone or some department, such as human resources, has identified the areas to survey, or perhaps you are considering using a published survey instrument that includes predetermined dimensions.

Whatever the case, you need to determine for what dimensions you require information, so even if you have a list, you need to confirm it, the definitions, and the relationships of the dimensions to your organization.
