Choosing the tools to make the decision

To make a good decision you need something to structure your thinking. Something to help you lay out your options, weigh them up, and then select the best one. There are many models that do just this, and it doesn’t matter too much which you opt for – all do the same basic job – but they differ in how they structure your thought process. Different people feel a natural affinity with different models, so choose the one that you feel most at home with, the one you can imagine using.
