Using keyboard shortcuts

Throughout the book I use the built-in keyboard shortcuts in Elements and it’s really worth learning at least the most frequently used ones; they are there to help you work more efficiently. Not only is it far quicker to press a key to choose a particular tool or function, it also helps to save your aching wrists by avoiding the need for unnecessary mouse or pen movement. You can switch from tool to tool without leaving the area of the image you’re currently working on, which also keeps your workflow more streamlined.
