This book has been a labor of love for the last eighteen months. We feel fortunate to work with such an impressive set of coauthors—some of the most respected thought leaders in positive organizational scholarship. We asked them to join us in fleshing out the best ideas on positive leadership—a sort of “greatest hits.” The contributors to this volume have been wonderful to work with, even as we shortened the deadline for final chapters so that the book could be ready at an earlier date.
