The road ahead

You have everything you need to become a brilliant public speaker. Now you just need to go out and practise. After all, it’s difficult to be a better public speaker if you don’t practise public speaking.

Ways to practise include:

  • visiting a local speaking club such as Toastmasters (although be sure to look for affirming feedback that strengthens your inspirational qualities, rather than a list of how many ‘ums’ you said during your talk)
  • actively seeking opportunities to speak through your workplace – just say yes rather than needing to be right first time
  • joining one of my public speaking courses through my company Ginger Training ...
