AP on Steroids?
There are a number of commercial and freeware options available when you need more features than those found on a traditional AP. I like to call these options APs on steroids because they are like a super-AP. In this chapter, we will review the Linux Embedded Appliance Firewall (LEAF) Bering distribution, Sputnik, and ReefEdge Dolphin. All of these software options are free and easily downloadable over the Internet.
