Other Working Groups

There are a number of other IEEE working groups currently devoted to solving a number of wireless issues. A few examples to keep an eye on are:

  • 802.11d General internationalization issues

  • 802.11e QOS support for a, b, g

  • 802.11f IAPP: Inter-Access Point Protocol (roaming between APs)

  • 802.11i Security (WEP, 802.1x, TKIP, AES, etc.)
