If Photoshop seems like it’s not acting right, or something just isn’t working the way you know it should, your Photoshop Preferences file has probably become corrupt. Don’t feel bad, though, it’s not you. This is a fairly common thing that happens, and luckily, replacing these preferences will usually fix about 99% of the problems you might run into.
