Split a Clip into Two Parts?

To split a clip into two clips, first click on the clip you want to split in the timeline, and then drag the playhead to the exact point where you want to split it. At the top left of the Timeline panel, click on the Split at Playhead icon (as shown circled above; it looks like a little pair of scissors) to split your clip in two. If you move the playhead now, you’ll see the clip has split into two clips right at that spot. Now you can move these two clips independently of each other anywhere you want.
