About the Author
Prof. K.V. Ramani obtained his Ph.D. in Operations Research from Cornell University, USA in 1977. He is currently a Professor at the Centre for Management of Health Services at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has also taught at Cornell University and Florida International University in USA, as well as the National University of Singapore. He has been a visiting research scholar at the University of Texas, Austin, USA; University of Leeds, UK; University of Warwick, UK; University of Western Sydney, Australia and the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration, Finland.
