About the author

Patrick Fagan is a consumer psychologist with both academic and commercial credentials. He is currently an Associate Lecturer in Consumer Behaviour and Psychology of Marketing and Advertising at Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Lecturer in Consumer Psychology at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London. He has published a number of papers on topics ranging from price psychology to Facebook psychology, and has written for publications including The Guardian, AdMap and Psychology Today. He is a frequent media contributor on consumer psychology and has been interviewed for print, radio and TV by companies like the BBC, Evening Standard and London Live.
